I'd order a couple mutes, try them out, and send back what you decide is not best for you.
When you do this, you'll want to keep them for a number of days so you can really get a feel of how they are benefitting of hurting you.
So far, it looks as if the Silent Brass and the Denis Wick are the front runners. They both have advantages and disadvantages. I really wouldn't consider price as an advantage for one over the other (I have no idea what the DW costs) because if you hate the one you buy, you won't use it much.
BTW, If I were to buy the silent brass all over again, I'd get it without the electronics... although the headphones go well with my portable DVD player when I'm on the road.
