Baltimore Brass and Dillons are two great places to buy the new King 2341 (or ANY tuba for that matter). Both stores usually have several in stock, and, of course, both Matt Walters and Dave Fedderly are a pleasure to work with. I don't know the exact price, but you should expect to pay a little less than $4000 for a lacquered horn, and a little more than $4000 for one that is silver plated.

I played the YBB-621 for a couple of years, and think that the King is a superior instrument in every way.... not to mention that you'd be lucky to get half of your money back on that Yamaha if you ever decided to sell.

With the money you are saving by not buying the Yamaha, plan a trip to the east coast and try a bunch of tubas in Baltimore and New Jersey.

Good Luck
