Ah yes, octaves. Indeed, I don't go very far into the treble clef without dropping down an octave or two. Indeed, when trying some flute music a zillion ledger lines above the TC, I had to go down three!
By the way, have you noticed that pianists read bass and treble clefs simultaneously, and don't think anything of it?
