There might be a problem, if you have not signed up to a Yahoo account. To my knowledge that would be free to do.

Others have also experienced problems. There are some applications pending. All from people, that have not identified themselves. All from people, that have numbers in their Yahoo ID's as well as in their mail addresses. There is nothing I can do for them, until they identify themselves.
