St. Louis has been a favorite of mine for a long time. Not because of their vicinity to where I live, but because of the great work they do without all of the fanfare and notariaty of some of more famous orchestras in the U.S.
I am amazed by the entire brass section. Not just today's, but for the last 10 or more years. The St. Louis Brass Quintet has also been a first rate group.
