I'm glad that you were finally able to complete that project! ' sorry I could never get a Weril valveset for you. They just "don't do that" (sell valvesets separate from instruments).
The type of bumpers that I referenced above last almost indefinitely, and are great as long as they are the thickness that you need them to be.
