Can't offer much on the CBB693, but I own a CCB686 5 rotor. It is a great horn. Intonation is right on, and the mini ball is extremly fast and quiet. I could not have been happier with this horn. I bought it used, but it is only a couple of years old. I've heard that you have to play test before you buy, but I guess that would apply to most all horns.
Some people say that the quality was better with the older ones, but my horn would sure make you question that point of view. If you snag a good one you will certainly be happy with it, as I am.
