Regardless of what pitch tuba you have, I think the non-transposing ("C") treble clef version is the right one. You will want to base your bass line on the chord symbols as well as the melody, and transposing chord symbols isn't something you want to do.

As part of my lessons, I am using some of these Dixieland tunes as replacements for those typical 19th century sentimental tunes in the backs of method books. My teacher and I swap between playing the melody and playing a bass line. And, a good time is had by all.
