I own two Marcinkiewicz m.p.'s, but it's an apples/organges situation. I have the Concert Hall H2, and a regular ETU 1 "Jim Self" model. All that I can tell you is that I really like the Concert Hall H2. It seems to work on every horn, and nearly every playing situation. I have a feeling that it's simply of a cross between a normal m.p., and the big soup can heavy weights. The sound seems real even between all registers. The octaves seem to be well in tune also. All that I can tell you is that I really like it.
