I have one from ca. 1971. Maybe a tiny bit of plating wear--on one spot on the tuning slide and a bit inside the bell. I also have some marks on it from having the leadpipe and thumb ring moved. Chuck Guzis recommended a fake plating product which really covers the brass showing through the "insults" to the plating. Covers well enough for me not to bother with spot-plating the horn.
