Hey East Tennessee...
The University of Tennessee Octubafest will be held Tuesday, October 22nd at 8 PM. The program will feature the UT Tuba Ensemble, as well as a few student soloists. In addition, our guest artist will be University of North Texas doctoral student Dax Stokes, runner-up in the ITEC 2002 Jazz Competition, and a UT alumnus. Following the performances, a mass tuba ensemble will be formed, and anyone who plays tuba or euphonium is invited to participate in this endeavor. Music will be provided at the concert.
The concert will be held in the auditorium at the School of Music, 1741 Volunteer Blvd., Knoxville.
