You should obviously consult John Stevens (your teacher at Madison) about this as well--he actually taught Ray Stewart at Miami in the early 80's (before Meridian Arts Ensemble). Also, John's originally from Buffalo--seems he would probably be a valuable person to speak to--especially since you're studying with him now.
