As as followup to my post below regarding Hymnals for Tuba, I received my copy yesterday and looked it over after Church. It has a bass line and a melody line in bass clef, however, the transposed melody line is so high (way up and above the legder)that there is no way I can play it. The highest note I've ever hit is the A at the top. Why is this scored so high? I could drop it an octave, but then much of becomes too low for my Eb tuba.
