Well, this was interesting. Our orchestral tuba player has showed up recently with a Miraphone 187 (BBb.) So at rehearsal on Saturday I showed up with my tuba mouthpiece and approached him with a big smile. Of course I got to try the tuba. This was a blast...that tuba is just about as big as I am. But you know what? It was easy to play!! It had a nice big fat sound. Now, all I need is yet another tuba and a larger hand truck.
