I had to think about that for awhile. I believe you are correct. If you know Bflat trumpet then you basically know the fingerings for Eflat tuba. Remove the three flats. Just don't play the trumpet part. You need the concert pitch bass cleff tuba part.
Does this mean if I know Eflat tuba that I can use those fingurings on a trumpet by looking at the music as if it were bass cleff and adding three flats?
