I have to say that the MI181 is an amazing instrument. I have playesd a lot of F tubas over the years and this one ranks in the top pair in my opinion. The sound is gorgeous and the notes slot very well, much easier to play than my YFB621S. I use a Schilke 62 for F work and it seems to give me a big sound and brings the upper register well into tune. I find that shallower mouthpieces tend to bring the register better into tune than the deeper mouthpieces. I've used the PT88 in a few F's but it would not be my choic3e for Benvenutto Cellini.
