The original idea of setting up a more or less fake account (not based on a real e-mail address) was not mine. I got the inspiration out of Tennessee.

The idea worked well for almost a year. Then the account was used by somebody for diverse irrelevant groups like cars, and somebody started to attach the account to their private addresses. I easily could clean that up.

But then some youngsters massively used the account to log onto some "adult" Yahoo groups, which no parents would want them to be members of.

My personal attitude to porn is that it is extremely boring because it most often is bad art. ( My personal "porn" is reading about upscale restaurants, because I have to live on an extremely narrow diet due to allergy, but I have a clear memory of most taste impressions). But the fact, that I have no moral reservations against non-kid and non-abusive porn, does not imply, that I am ready to act as a shunt derailing parents' idea about their kids' internet access.

However anybody can set up his/hers own yahoo account of the "brassphotos03" type using fake reference addresses like the one I used (the group owner was one of my deceased dogs):

santas(AT)unemployed.org
antarctic(AT)polarbears.org
african(AT)tigers.org
australian(AT)elephants.org
arizona(AT)parrot.org
