He is very good. Kind of weird, but he is getting the wind orch, which is the grad/ doctoral ensemble he directs, into shape, more so I think than we were last semester or semesters before that. He doesn't take when people don't know their parts and he has somewhat of a different approach to teaching, which I think for the most part works for us and uses analogies that are really vivid and very easy to understand. I think he is going to do wonders for this program. I am very happy so far with what he is doing with in our rehearsals.
