If you want a good all around BBb tuba that is versatile , that can be used in chamber music and medium size orchestra, the Fafner is NOT what you should be looking at. It is a wonderful instrument for a large orchestra for "Ring Cycle" Wagner and Bruckner and Mahler. It is easy to play but makes a sound that would not be suitable for most situations, unless you want to sound like a bull in a china shop. (Come on, folks, think about the music for a change.)
