If a 7B fits your face, it will work fine on a 20J. Generally, anything that works acceptably on your sousaphone will work on a 20J. I found that the 20J is not especially picky, but the advantages of a large mouthpiece that might be apparent on a smaller horn get swallowed up on a BAT.
