There are a couple of reasons for the early date:
1) Ryan Schultz and a couple of other pros are playing the Nutcracker with the Pacific Northwest ballet and will be very, very busy later in the year.
2) We are blessed with a number of TubaChristmases in the Pacific Northwest and we don't want to conflict with any of the others.
