I didn't say their wasnt a big corrolation between them. If your lips feel cruddy, and worn out, it'll probly hurt your sound, no doubt.
The maker of sound should definately be comfortable, but primarily his SOUND should move freely, be pleasing to the ear and comfortable because that's what people hear. They cannot hear your body feeling these things, so there is no reason to focus on them. They do not add to the auditory experiance.
That is, unless you are playing to an a hall full of aliens. Then I'm wrong.
