The Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps out of Colorado has hired almost an all new staff. The majority of the staff are professional players from BLAST and someone I think is a Graduate student at Indiana and is in Perantoni's studio.
I have heard some of their plans and their approach is to educate through fundamentals. They want to have the students leave with more than just ten minutes of music learned.
When I spoke to one of their staff members and he told me some of their game plan, I think it is going to be a very motivating and postive experience for the students.
