Hearty greetings to you all. I have searched in a wide variety of places to find the birth and death dates of William Spencer Johnson (b. 1883). We are playing a brass quintet of his (Scherzo) and I would like to have his correct dates. Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but if he was born in 1883 he is probably not still with us today, right? Any ideas on where to search?
