shows that are played, marched and executed very well will get the most points. just because you enjoy the show alot doesn't mean it should win. i've seen all sorts of shows win in many different settings, and sometimes the most entertaining show wins, but that's also because it was the cleanest. and in the drum corps world, it's not really fair to say that the popular and entertaining shows don't win, because there is a certain 11 time world champion corps that wins entirely with entertaining shows. shows can be entertaining and artistic at the same time. how many times have we heard something we didn't enjoy after listening to it once, but after hearing it more and more, you begin to like it?
