I exclusively use Joe Hetman's full line of 21 instrument lubricants, which in my experience are unequalled by anything else on the market.
Joe Hetman, a gigging brass player as well as a highly-experienced engineer, specifically developed his line of lubricants to be compatible with traditional valve oil, so if you have to borrow some Brand X at the gig, etc., your valves will not turn to mush.
To my knowledge, Hetman Synthetic Lubricants are the only product line on the market that are non-toxic, compatible with traditional oils, have corrosion inhibitors to keep your horn cleaner, viscosity enhancers to last longer between applications, and are available in different viscosities to address the differing needs of different instruments.
My experience has been so good that I do not use anything else.
