My experience at UMN was fantastic. Mr. Tolbert is a wonderful teacher, just as well as the rest of the faculty. As a whole, it was a great learning/practicing environment. I really wanted to stay there to do DMA, but they didn't have DMA program for tuba (but they do for trumpet and trombone). If you know that you can stand the cold weather, you should definitely look in to the school. You can email me if have a specific question.
