I owned and played one for about 8 years, before replacing it with the new, one piece model. I would definitely call it 4/4 sized. When I put my Conn 21J next to it the King was dwarfed. The 2XJ would be a 6/4 if the King is a 4/4. I wouldn't use bore as a factor in determining its classification. A Cerveny piggy has a 0.8"+ bore, but is a 3/4 due to its overall size, while the King is a 4/4 with a 0.687" bore.
