I have a weltklang Bb with four rotary valves and s-links- It sounds very good, as everyone says. Intonation is good, but the general pitch is a bit on the low side: Just 440 Hz when tuning slide pushed in. If the instrument is warm, the pitch is a bit higher. The worst thing in it are the links. A good brass-instrument maker (here in germany) said he liked the instrument, it is well made of good materials, better then some contemporary instruments.
