Al Baer has made it through to the final round with the New York Philharmonic. He is the only one so far, there may be others today. Al played a couple of days ago. Just so you know, he (and I think EVERYONE else) had to go through all rounds. Al went through pre-lims and semis, and on to the final next week.
I study with Al, and he is a great teacher and fantastic player. Congrats to Al for getting through, and good luck!
