I got to play it about amonth ago when I was getting some work done on my horn. Completely different from the 3/4 Rudi Meinl that I usually play (go figure!), so I might not be the best judge, but I quite liked the horn. Big American sound, pretty heavily modified by the Dillon people, quite easy to play. If I had an extra $8000 and an orchestral gig, I wouldn't hesitate. I have to say I thought it played circles around the MW2165, whose appeal I frankly don't quite understand. Of course, use salt liberally, since I am an Alex/RM/German style rotory kind of guy...
