The most perfect mpc in the world will do you no good if you hate to play it because it is uncomfortable. There are a lot of great sounding mpc's that are too much work to nail the pitch with a correct sounding articulation. That is often a person to person thing. I suggest you choose a comfortable mpc with a pleasant sound, that also lets you cleanly articulate in all registers and dynamic levels. Look, most of your audience will not know what Arnold Jacobs would have sounded like, but they WILL know if you miss a lot of notes, etc. And I have listened to hundreds of people try mpc's.
