Of course a St Petersburg is no good because (3) the valves are crummy, and (4) the plating wears off and exposes some not-so-cleverly-hidden inferior (thin) metal. Come on folks...you can get a Ford Pinto cheap if you can put up with the exploding gas tank. People push the horns you mentioned for one reason only...QUALITY!!! Something St Pete horns sorely lack.
