Hey someone, thanks for bringing this up. This important for everyone to understand: there are no Tuba Gods. Professionals like Deck are humans who have worked very hard to get to the top, and now that they're at the top, all eyes are on them, and more people see their faults, and their strengths.

Christopher had a wonderful anecdote. There is no such thing as perfection- some would say if Deck backed off and missed nothing, it would've been perfect, but others would've criticized his lack of balls. Music, as anything, is a series of give and takes. In the attempt to add excitement and power to the music, he up-ed the risk of making mistakes. Was the risk worth it? That's up to the performer, the human, not God.
