The question is more who looks out for a YBB103.
In many circles, the YBB 103 is a much sought after horn. (Certianly more so than any VMI instrument I've ever come across, which personally I've found to be pretty poorly designed and constructed. You get what you pay for.) They play in tune, are well constructed, easily repaired, very light with a solid fundemental and MOST IMPORTANTLY (to me at least) small and light enough to check as baggage when flying for dates. Many older Dixie players I know like them for thier compact size, unable to lug around a bigger horn for instance. Note also it's the precursor to the YBB621, which many cats can't afford.
