Day of Music (September 16, Saturday) at Orchestra Hall (Symphony Center) has the CSO playing among other things Mahler Symphony #1 at 7 PM, the incredible David "Red" Lehr playing from 8:30-9:30 in the Rotunda of Symphony Center and the CSO trombones and tuba playing there from 9:45 -10:30 PM. It is all free.
