Hey,
I discussed this with several teachers at a recent ITEC. They seemed to agree that to have even a "shot" at being a "big time" player you have to be one of two things. Really solid at excerpts and know them inside and out or you have to be getting around Kraft or Penderecki by the end of hig school. This may seem extreme but this is what these little brats are doing know. Glad I come from a different generation!!
