True, the law of supply and demand would dictate that the prices should remain stable or rise, however, don't forget another factor in the equation - distribution. One of the main reasons HB's are so expensive is the exclusivity contract Custom has with HB. This means they can sell them for as much as the market will bear because they have no competition. I have been told that Custom's markup on these horns is in the neighborhood of 100%. If that exclusivity arrangement were to change (i.e. if Brasswind or Dillon or Dave Fedderly could sell them) what would happen to the price then? I would guess you could buy an HB-21 for around $7K - $8K instead of Custom's $13K.

Also, the US dollar continues to make headway against the Swiss Franc and should also affect the dealer's cost from the factory. Now whether he passes this savings on to you is up to him.
