Of course you should try as many mouthpieces as you can because you never know which one will be a great match for you and your tuba. That said, I don't think you can go very wrong with the Bach 18 you have now. The 18 is a solid, all around mouthpiece and I still use one myself. It would do you some good to try and think about what it is exactly that you don't like about your current setup. Then you can start trying mouthpieces that might help you in these areas. But I would be careful since I wouldn't feel comfortable trying mouthpieces in an attempt to find help in certain areas of my playing unless I was sure that those failings were not because of me.

My opinion for what its worth...
