If you are interested, try out the mouthpiece that Dillon music is selling on ebay. You can either bid on one or call them direct and see what type of deal they have. These mouthpieces are the "Rose" style mouthpiece similar to the old Mirafone Rose Orchestra mouthpiece. They are made by Terry Warburton who is a great guy and does anexcellent job of making mouthpieces (I believe he makes all of the Dillon line). I have been using this on my Mel Culbertson VMI 6/4. It has guite a bit of core and heft in the bottom end plus the rim is not so wide as to hamper any of the high register. It is a very deep Helleberg style cup with a large backbore. They are quite a deal going right now as Dillon is trying to help Terry sell some surplus of these mouthpieces.
