Here's what I found on it: The LBB Josef Lidl BBb tuba features a 16.5-inch bell with a 0.721 bore size. The instrument has a height of 33 7/8 inches and weighs 15.4 lb." FWIW, MSRP is about $5,100. This is Lidl's first entry into the tuba market.

So this isn't all that big-bore for a rotary tuba. (for comparison, a Miraphone 186 has a 0.770 bore) And it looks like the bows are rather small (the light weight would bear this out). I would expect this instrument to have a rather bright sound, but be fairly easy to play. Probably a good instrument for younger (i.e. middle school) students.

Sure is odd to see clockwork springs on a new tuba!
