the New York Philharmonic Brass Quintet with Bill Bell playing recorded the Symphony for Brass Choir on the Golden Crest label. Van Haney on tbn, John Chambers on hrn, John Ware and Nathan Prager on tpts. Golden Crest records CR 4003. The cover has a photo of the group with Bell smiling holding his rotary valve King with the long spatulas. Side A is listed as "Ewald Symphony for Five-Part Brass Choir" amd the program notes credit the Robert King edition. The horn and trombone parts are in fact the King edition--slightly changed from the original. Interestingly Bell plays from the euphonium part and it is almost identical with the original tuba part. One wonders if he had the original. I bought this recording years ago and would be glad to copy the cover and back for you. New recordings are better acoustically and my copy is rather worn. lkjohnson(AT)wsu.edu
