I don't think I've tried the H&B yet. The most successful mute so far is a Dennis Wick (I think) that my former teacher at the Univ of Oklahoma, Ted Cox, owned. By the way, he's an incredible tubist and teacher..,for those of you looking for schools, check it out...including the Tuba camp he does with Sam Pilafian, Brian Bowman, and Deanna Swoboda!! Sorry, had to plug it...It's GREAT!!!! Really guys, I'm desperate for this mute. I loathe playing with a mute in the first place, and I'm sure alot of you do, but as we all know, owning one is vital to our profession. To whomever sent the reply, thank you, and I'll definitely check out the H&B!! I would truly appreciate a personal e-mail, if you could, about why you recommend the H&B. Like I said, I've tried quite a few and have been happy with NONE!!
