I bought the horn brand new. I gave it an initial bath, greased it up, but it still had this problem. since then (8 months) i've given it another bath, and greased the slides many times. A grad assistant at my school thinks that they're just not "broken in" and that i need to take off some metal. i've taken really good care of this horn, so it SHOULDN'T be something that i did, but i guess i could be wrong.
