I have Doug Elliot tuba mp that the rim is stuck on. It will not unscrew. It is actually a new mp, about 4 months old, and when I went to switch the rim from silver to plastic, I absolutely could not get the rim off. I forgot to drop a little oil on it when I started using it. I have tried using all my strength ( and I am not weak) with my hands and with leather chamois. I need ideas on a way to grip it to turn it. Of course I do not want to hurt the mouthpiece. Thanks
