The label "Stradivarius" was only put on top-of-the-line Bach instruments, designed and approved by Vincent Bach himself. I understand he had started working on a Stradivarius euphonium at the time of his death, but only trumpet and trombone players can benefit from Vincent Bach's work.
Why Selmer, USA has not imported Selmer, Paris brass is a mystery to me. They make some fine instruments that are not even seen in the US.
I agree 100% with Joe S.- American companies could rule the tuba business if the bean-counters would step aside and let them do what they are capable of!
