Allow me to clarify:

I am looking for an elementary book (probably in vain!), that would allow me to work on learning F tuba finger patterns (from the bottom, up....so to speak), without having to become heavily involved with technical considerations (yet!).

I realize that any book of tuba material, or trombone for that matter, would provide practice fodder. I was hoping to approach it s-l-o-w-l-y at first, by just doing (and reading) elementary excercizes, and tunes, to allow me to develop the "feel" of the F tuba, at a comfortable pace.

What I am looking for probably doesn't exist, because of the F tuba's unique key, and the fact that it is in the bass clef (if it were in the treble, as you noted, the horn book would work fine). I was just hoping somebody out there had information that I didn't.
