I've never heard of this company, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was made by J.W. York. Many "off-brands" were made by well known companies in the first half of the 20th century. One of the best known such examples is Pan American (by Conn). Many of these instruments are surprisingly good quality and differ from their big name contemporaries only in subtle areas such as trim, etc. Anyone else have any ideas?
