I really like my MW2145. My experience with Meinl Weston horns is that the quality varies a lot horn to horn though, so make sure to try a few. Sam Pilafian likes mine better than he likes his. The horn is a great all around horn. I've had mine for about 8 years and it's worked great in quintet and orchestra. It's been plenty big enough for large orchestra playing too, although sometimes for auditions I've wished I had a bigger horn. The 2155 is definitely worth looking at too. It's very similar, but just a bit bigger. The only problem I ever had with the horn is the placement of the thumb ring. The placement is for very large hands, because it was originally designed for Jon Sass (who is 6'10").
