F Tubas vs. Besson 983 Eb

I was in the market for an F tuba, but found that all of the instruments I played had some degree of difficulty with the lower register.

I then stumbled on the Besson 983 Eb, and found that the low register worked much better for me than any of the F's that I have played. From my perspective, the tone of the 983 is fairly bright.

Is there any opinion about using the 983 as an F tuba substitute?
